An alternative, somatic therapy in Shrewsbury and beyond

For High-Achieving Women Who Want to
Finally Become Themselves

You've Done the Work But You're Still Stuck

You understand your patterns – where they came from, why they show up. You've journalled and meditated and read all the right books. And yet...

You still freeze when you want to stand up for yourself. Your relationships still follow the same script. Your nervous system is still braced for impact, even when there’s no impact coming.

As a nervous system practitioner based in Shrewsbury (and online), I’ll go beyond the brain with you. We’ll shift into the physical, emotional, and energetic too. This means you don’t need to have the right words or explain what you’ve been through in detail. You don’t have to relive painful memories.

Clients often describe sessions as feeling somewhere between talking therapy and hypnotherapy.

Let Me Help You...

Stop Studying Your Pain and Start Living Past It

You are highly intelligent. You can articulate why you’re facing challenges, what your childhood wounds are, and what your triggers mean.

But you also know that understanding your difficulties doesn’t help you move on from them.

Find a Soft Place to Land (Within Yourself)

You are the ‘strong one’. The one who takes care of everyone else.

You want to drop the armour without collapsing. You want to be able to sit still without feeling like you’re vibrating out of your skin.

Relieve Yourself of the ‘Second Tax’

You’re tired of paying the emotional tax on everything you do.

You can deliver a flawless presentation, set a boundary, or make a major life choice, but you pay for it with a 3:00 AM wake-up call, a tight jaw, and hours of second-guessing.

It's Time for Visceral, Unshakeable Relief

with the Secure Self Model

I designed the Secure Self Model based on my training in nervous system regulation. It highlights the core issues my clients often experience (subconscious identity patterns, shame, and fear of the future), the way these can integrate, and the outcome of working through them with me as your practitioner.

Having a secure self means:

Speaking up confidently without doubt instead of shrinking.

Setting boundaries that come from self-respect rather than resentment.

Trusting your decisions, even the big ones, + feeling steady in them.

Enjoying calmer relationships that don’t cost your well-being.

Holding emotional stability with ease… even on the hard days.

Feeling safe to be fully, visibly you around anyone (yes, even that person).

The Secure Self Model Explores Three Experiences:

Fear of the Future

Transitions are disorienting. Leaving a relationship, becoming a mum, changing careers, losing someone you love – these ruptures crack your identity open.

The ‘dark night of the soul’ is difficult, but it’s the space where something new can be born.

Subconscious Identity Patterns

You’ve tried to think your way out of patterns that keep returning, but mindset work only addresses the top of the iceberg.

We’ll go below the waterline – exploring the somatics of tension rather than replaying the events that caused it.

Shame

Shame lives in hiding. When we push down the parts of ourselves we’ve been told aren’t acceptable – the anger, the need, the desire, the grief – we create a quiet but persistent sense of not being good enough.

We’ll gently uncover the shame that’s been buried and release it so you no longer carry the burden.

Who You'll Be Talking To

I’m Charlotte – a nervous system practitioner, trauma-informed embodiment coach, and former corporate marketing exec who spent years achieving everything on the outside while my nervous system quietly unravelled on the inside.

When I finally understood that no amount of strategy, thinking, or willpower was going to fix a dysregulated nervous system, I trained in embodiment coaching (based on Polyvagal theory). Then everything shifted: my business, my relationships, my relationship with myself.

I’ve supported women through identity transitions, burnout recovery, self-worth rebuilding, people-pleasing patterns, career pivots, and the overwhelm of becoming a mum while still trying to know yourself.

Where You Are and Where You're Going

Right now, you might be someone who:

Gives so much in relationships + work that there’s barely anything left for you.

Finds it impossible to make a decision without spiralling into doubt, anxiety, + confusion.

Has done talking therapy + found it helpful to a point – but your body is still vibrating with stress.

Is going through a major life transition + feels like the person you used to be no longer fits.

Is ready to build something new – a career, a truer identity – but fear has you frozen.

On the Other Side of This Work, My Clients Experience:

Relationships that feel more reciprocal + less exhausting.

Fierce confidence in their judgement + fewer f***s about what people think.

Clarity about what they want from their career, relationships, + selves.

A quieter mind (because their nervous system has regulated).

A body that finally feels safe to live in, enjoying sovereignty + calm.

We’ll build the middle part – the how – together, specifically for you.

A Few Things I Get Asked

Yes. Talking therapy works brilliantly at creating understanding. Embodiment and nervous system regulation goes into the physical residue that understanding alone can’t always clear. You don’t need to re-explain your history. We work with what your body is holding right now.

The modality I’m trained in is embodiment coaching, which is rooted in Polyvagal theory – a well-established framework in nervous system science. Sessions begin with grounding and include somatic practices. So if body-based and holistic approaches interest you, you’ll love this. If you’re looking for a purely clinical talking therapy, I’ll signpost you elsewhere.

Yes – and you’re probably one of the women this work is best suited for. A lot of my clients come in feeling a vague but unshakeable sense that something isn’t right, without being able to name exactly what.

We start with a gifted session. I won’t pitch my services to you in this session. It’s 100% to help you.

If, based on the gifted session, we are a good fit for a longer-term partnership, you can request a custom plan. I will then propose a coaching journey to help you reach the transformation you’re looking for. You can choose whether or not you’d like to move forward with this plan.

Client Love Letters

Due to the nature of my work, client names are protected for confidentiality.

A Note

I am not a psychotherapist. If you’re in acute crisis or require clinical mental health support, I’ll gently encourage you to seek that first. This work is best experienced by women who are ready to explore and grow, not in the middle of a mental health emergency. If you’re unsure, reach out – I’ll be honest about whether this feels like the right fit.

You’ve Scrolled This Far...

Investing in yourself when you’re already depleted can feel like a lot to ask. I get that. And I’d rather you reach out with your questions than talk yourself out of something that might genuinely change things for you.
